Kintsukuroi (2016)

The work Kintsukuroi is inspired by collage artist and illustrator Takahiro Kimura's passionate and beautiful college work, Broken Faces, and Kintsukuroi, the ceramic process of repairing pottery using gold or silver lacquer to mend the broken parts, understanding that the pottery is more beautiful for being broken.
